cannot access .org webpages

For some reason, whenever I try type a web address in my
browser for a .org webpage (for example, www.insight.org),
the browser jumps to a error page saying domain cannot be
found and then it sends me to a search almighty webpage.
This is very frustrating! Is there any hope?
