cannot access mcrosoft IE 6.0 website

when i try to dpwnload, update or access the windows
pages for 6.0 i get the following message

msxml3.dll error '80072f76'

The requested header was not found

/library/toolbar/3.0/vb.asp, line 30

i have downloaded the recent service pack and have
uninstalled ie

i am still running 6.0
