I have just upgraded a friends computer XP Home) to SP2 and now I cannot
connect to the internet.

I have checked Device manager and card says it is enabled and software is
working correclty. Also 3 additional entries are now present relating to WAN
Miniport and all have yellow flags.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled network card with no change.

Also I have installed a new network card with same result.

My apologies if this appears twice but first attempt failed with site busy
message

Although the Device manager says card is enabled, Network connection has
cards disabled and the enable function reports reports "connection failed"

Ipconfig does not run

Would appreciate help to resolve this

Thanks for response but suggestion did not work
Reinstalling produced the samr WaN MiniPort errors.

I have uninstalled SP2 and everything works OK. I will try to reinstall S{2
at a later date

Thank you for the update. Please post back after re-install SP2.
