Tara,
Error messages are key here. Also you mentioned that you tried recreating
the Sysvol directory. If this was a manually performed process you should
make sure that the proper junction points were recreated using the
linkd.exe utility. In order to determine which directories should be
junction points you could bring up a dummy DC and recreate it by compaing
it to the new dummy DC.
If this truly is an emergency I would suggest contacting PSS as the
newsgroup forum may not be able to respond to you in as quick of fashion as
direct work with MS PSS.
