I cannot access files on the computers on my home network. Here is the
situation:
3 computers
desktop (A) with XP
desktop (B) with XP
laptop with Vista
Linksys router with the computers connected with an ethernet cable.
All 3 computers can access internet (cable)
"A" can see other 2 computers, laptop can see other 2 computers, "B" can
see only "A".
Folders with sharing enabled show up on all the computers, but files
within the folders cannot be accessed. An error screen states the "files
cannot be accessed, etc -- possibly don't have permission, etc."
There is only one user on each computer, the administrator.
Each computer has a different name -- the workgroup name is the same for all
3.
Hope somebody has some ideas -- thanks for your help.
