I posted several messages before saying I could not access DSL (Att/
Yahoo) while my HPNA (home phoneline network) connections were enabled
and active, but DSL was restored by disabling the HPNA connection.
None of the replies or my calls to ATT or extensive research provided
a solution.
I now find that I can avoid losing DSL without disconnecting the
HPNA. If I remove the checkmark by "let other computers use this
computer to access the internet" in "properties" and "advanced" of the
host network connection, then I don't lose DSL. (However, it does
mean I am still unable to share the internet connection which was the
only reason for installing the HPNA netowrk in the first place.)
Does this new information trigger any new suggestions?
