hi ,

access to D:\ drive - pretty dumb i know.,.,

can someone help me in this i am the admin to the system
and i still cannot access it.,,
please help.

I'm assuming that you probably got too aggressive in removing permissions.

- Open Windows Explorer
- Right click on the D:\ drive icon
- Select the Sharing and Security option
- Click on the Security tab
- In the "group or user name" box make sure that the correct accounts for
your needs are listed, and the permissions in the box below are configured
correctly.

If the above fails, or permissions got completely screwed up there is a
chance that you may need to take ownership back first and then reconfigure
permissions. That is done like the above steps, but on the security tab,
choose advanced then click on owner, then select the account that you want
to give ownership to, and then set up the permissions correctly. Most
likely, you won't need to go this far.
