I installed Outlook 2003 on a new computer on my little home network. The
older machine runs XP Home and the new one XP Media Edition. I copied
everything from the outlook folder on the old machine to the new one and all
the email appeared OK. And when I click on Contacts, I see all my contacts.
BUT, when I try to write email, I cannot access the Contacts. I get this
message: "The address lsit could not be displayed. The Contacts folder
associated with this address could not be opened...." How can I get the use
of my Contacts?

VERY APPRECIATIVE OF ANY HELP!!
THANKS.

Right-click on the Contacts folder, select Properties, select the Outlook
Address Book tab and ensure "Show this folder as an email address book" is
checked.
Then, select your Address Book (Tools | Address Book), select Tools Options
and set the "Show this address list first" to Contacts. You might have two
Contacts entries and might need to switch between them.
