needs help!

It says Drive is not accessable and not functional. I
can't get the floppy drive or the two cdroms drives to
work. Please help.

I get the same problem as well but my cd-rom drives dont
show up in my computer but in device manager there is a
problem on all of my cd-rom devices. it says "This device
is not working properly because Windows cannot load the
drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

And on my floppy drive, i insert a disk but when i try to
use it the busy light doesn't even come on and it
says "Please insert a disk into drive A:". it's like it's
not even there...

It could be a virus, but i doubt it. i get all of my
software scanned before i use it. i think it is corrupted
drivers.

Norton Anti-virus install did this. Look up this Error message at their
site and follow the instructions provided in the article.

Do you have InCD? If so, first uncheck the automatic functions in NAV, then
uninstall InCD, then reboot, put things back in NAV. If thet works, try
putting InCD back and getting an upgrade for it. I just had this problem.
Iam astill waiting to herar fromSymantec as to whether it is advisabel to
put InCD back in.

I had the similiar problem after installing Norton Anti Virus 2004. My CD
ROM drives would not recognize content on data CD's. I followed the
work-around suggested by Symantec on their FAQ and it worked.

Open Norton Antivirus 2004 (NAV04) and click Options. uncheck the Start
Auto-protect on Startup box. Accept and close the program. Restart the
computer. After the computer has re-booted, manually Enable the
Auto-protect feature. Your drives should work.
