Cannot access AOL after intalling XP-SR2

After installing AOL SR-2 I can no longer access AOL.

I use dialup not high speed.
I have uninstalled SR-2

I have completely uninstalled AOL (followed full uninstall directions) and
then reinstalled but still can't access my account.

If you are referring to XP SP2, AOL is not compatible with the XP firewall
which is enabled by default in XP 2. You can try turning off the XP
firewall, assuming it is turned on. If you've uninstalled SP2, then open
Control Panel, if you don't see Windows Firewall, go to the Network
Connections applet, right click your connection, select properties, go to
the Advanced tab, click Settings and turn off the firewall.

If it already is turned off, you need to contact AOL for help with this
issue as it is their responsibility to make their setup work with XP.

Thank you, we have done all of the above and AOL technical support as usual
has done little to help.

This weekend we will run an XP repair install which should roll everything
back.
