Cannot access any search engine

Hi, i am wondering why i cannot acces any search engine
such as google. i recieve a "cannot display page" error
everytime. it happens too when i do a search in yahoo,
msn, aol, etc. other websites work. i have dsl and
using IE. Thanks if you can help me out
