Sorry to hijack his thread, but you sound as though you may be able to
help me. I have just got Lide80 and it is a lovely looking piece of
kit. However, installing it on my computer gives me the "twain source
not found - cable may be disconnected" message. Installed it on my
wife's computer across the room and it sailed through with no problems
what so ever! I must have something on my system that is causing the
problem but I've no idea what.
OS is WinXP (on both PCs) have done all the Canon uninstall -
reinstall bits, scanner is connected directly to the PC (not through
hub), my wife's PC only has USB1 and even this did not make it flinch.
MB is Epox 8rda with usual HD, DVD, CDwriter, etc, only odd bit is
Adatec SCSI card for my film scanner, Minolta Dualscan.
Any ideas?
