Is there a way to position 4x5 or 4x6 sized images on a full sheet of
8½ x 11 inch paper? Specifically, I want to print a single 4x5 image
in the upper right quadrant of the A4 sheet.

The Easy photo print program included with the printer software will
only place that image in the upper left quadrant.

When I try to use a program like ACDSee (which allows such placement)
the printer won't recognize the placement and continues to print in
the upper left position.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Thanks.

Did you try Paint Shop Pro? Or maybe freeware IfranView?
BTW...it's very weird that you can't print from ACDSee the way you want...
normally from all programs printer should print exactly as you see on
screen...

After sleeping on the problem, I suspect it's because the Canon Easy
print program is installed. Yes, it's nice but ACDSee is more
versatile for my particular needs.

I'll uninstall the Canon program and maybe ACDSee will work normally.
I'll post the results later.

I doubt that is the reason - I have the Canon apps installed and have no
probs printing out at any position on the page from Irfanview. (Never used
ACDSee)

Nope, it can't be the reason. I have Easy print installed and i can
perfectly print from other apps, like Paint Shop Pro etc.
