Cannnot create new accounts in BCM

I am trying to use Outlook 2003 with Business Contact Manager as a
single computer user. I just loaded the new upgrade but was having
this problem in the older version as well. I cannot establish new
contacts when going to business contacts - new- after typing in enough
information and clicking create new account it asks me to save and it
does not appear to save and it does not take me to the screen where I
can enter the new account name. After this the New button in Outlook
and in BCM is no longer highlighted.
