Hi

I tried to create an account for my Outlook 2000, and set the option
internet Email + MS Exchage. I realisedy only after that my network did
not have an exchange server. Now when i launch the MS Outlook the
program asks for the server and mailbox, which of course he can't find.
The problem is that the only thing i can do now is press cancel, which
gives me a "unable to open your default email folders. the information
store could not be open" and allows me to open the file system instead.
In that state the application does not give me access to the "options"
menu, to delete account or settings.

Can anyone tell me how to cancel this pending account
setting?Uninstalling and reinstalling the Outlook doesn't work

Go to Control Panel | Mail. You can remove the Exchange Server service from the profile and add the Personal Folders and Internet Mail services.

In Control Panel select 'Mail" and proceed from there. Make sure Outlook is not open at the time
