When I go to delete a newsgroup that I no longer need, I get a
message:

You are about to remove...

Do you really want to keepthe message properties and associated
filters...

Do I?

Thank you,

Barry Karas

If you want to completely unsubscribe from a newsgroup you don't want to
retain any of the files or properties, no - is your answer ;)

You're using Agent, so I'm not sure why you posted the question here.
But, okay. If you were just sampling the group and didn't care for it,
then you might as well delete everything. If you saved any messages
from the group, though, first you might want to move them to a folder.
Or if you think you might be back (say, a newsgroup on pet behaviour,
and this particular problem has ended), then you should probably save
the settings.

Hi Maureen,
Didn't notice that OP was using Forte Agent.
