Diskmgmt.msc

Just enter in a start/search box and hit <enter>. You cannot remove a system
or boot volume. If this is a proprietary system, be aware that the
manufacturer may have created a recovery volume that you should not delete
unless you have created an alternative means of reverting to factory state.

How do I cancel or eliminate a partition in vista?

See Rick's answer to you. I just wanted to add a word about the
terminology, since if you get it wrong, you can end up doing the wrong
thing.

What you want to do, I assume, is *remove* a partition and *also* add
the space that it used to another partition.

Yes. Exactly. I created a partition to install another OS but I changed my
mind and I want to return that allocated HD space back to my primary vista
OS.

Thanks all. AL
