Can’t receive mail from 1 of 2 account

I have had 2 email accounts on Window Mail for the past year. As of
yesterday when I send/receive email it downloads the mail from one account
twice & nothing from the other account. Server is mail.bellsouth.net. I
have Outlook Express on another laptop & it is working fine. Any
suggestions? Thanks - Perplexed in Tennessee

Yes, that is all fine. When I click Send/Receive I notice that at the end
it flashes "Not Connected"

but is is still downloading 1 account twice.
 
Try disabling the non-working account temporarily. You can do so as
follows: Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, on the General
tab uncheck the box for "Include this account..."
Does that eliminate the problem of receiving duplicates?

Thanks for your help. All is fine this morning, I believe it was a
Bellsouth problem...
