can you tell your html code to specify browser

I am noticing that our company page does not work well when using
firefox. i already entered a script that displays a message if they
are using any browser other than IE. what i wanted to do is mak that
into alink so that if they clicked it IE would open with our page. is
this even possible???

I don't think there's a way to code a page to specify or force which browser
a client is to use.

Please reconsider you use of code that won't work with both browsers.
