Can you place text on top of swf file?

I had no problem bringing a swf file into PPT 2007 on my PC. It works like a
charm. I would like to place text on top of it so the swf file is in the
background. I am having great difficulty with this. Is it even possible?

I thought I had made the swf file transparent but I guess I didn't. I just
have to figure out how to do that. I guess I know what I'll be doing tonight.
