I have been researching to ~partition {home edit of windows xp} /in my search I have found fdisk, diskpart, disk management- -as well as a search result [help]?

None of these possible solutions to partioning my hard drive seem to work! Is it possible to partition the home edition of windows xp? If the possibility of partitioning does exist: how? nfts/fat32 or non..

After you have installed? Partition Magic..

Before or during install.. FAT32 for below 32GB partitions, easy - do
whatever. Boot with XP CD, go through like installing, when it asks you
where to install, delete and create as you want.. Same if you are using
nothing but NTFS..

If you want partitions to be FAT32 above 32GB - then you need to get a
bootdisk (Win98SE, WinME) from bootdick.com and boot with it, use FDISK to
partiton and format as you want, then boot with your Windows XP and install
onto the partitions you just created.

I just realized you also could have meant a secondary drive or partition you
did not setup when installing (added later possibly) but you want FAT32 for
whatever reason... You can do a search for a utility to format it FAT32 if
it is above 32GB in size.. Or you can just format it NTFS with Disk Manager
in Windows XP.

Let me correct one of the lines above.
The site you want is BOOTDISK.com.
Bootdick.com is a S&M site that deals more with testicular torture
than HD maintanance. lol
