No. PowerPoint outputs all content at 72dpi, low resolution.
What gives you that impression, Troy?
Insert a moderately high resolution photo or add a bunch of small text.
Print it to any modern laser or inkjet printer.
At 72dpi, you'd be able to count the dots with the naked eye - 72 dpi, 72
points to the inch, do the math.
And that'd also mean that for 12 point type, each letter would be made up of 12
dots vertically. Less, actually. Ten or fewer for most.
Dunno about you, but I get lots more dots than that on my printers. ;-)
If you save as a PNG or JPG or whatnot and then take those to the printer, then
yeah ... 72dpi and not adequate. So don't do that <g>
