Can you make a pivot table report?

Hello All

Is there a way to take the results of a query and display them in a report as a pivot table? Equivalently, is there a way to make a report look like an Excel spreadsheet? (Note: It does not have to act like or in any way be a spreadsheet - looking like one is good enough.) I do know exporting the data straight-away in a pivottable view into Excel gives results close to what I'm looking for, and it will do in a pinch - I'm just hoping there might be a report that does this (seems like there should be a way to do this in a report

Much Thanks in Advance
Nick

The problem with using a crosstab query (pivot table) as the source for a
report is that report controls must be bound to particular field names. In
a crosstab query, the field (or column) names can change each time it is
run. There is a solution, but it requires some coding.

On my website (see sig below) is a small sample database called
"CrosstabReport" which illustrates one way to do this.
