I upgraded 95 to 98 - - I just need to know if
the 'upgrade' version is okay.

Searched and searched microsoft.com with no luck.

Thanks!

Hello,
as far as I remember/know, buying an upgrade instead of full version
only means you can't do a clean install with the "upgrade" CD,
but have to start the setup from Win98 and upgrade. Therefore I see
no reason for it not to work, altho it means that you will have to
install Win95, Win98 and then WinXP each time you decide to do a clean
install.

But still, I suggest you call your local MS support line and ask
before you purchase :)
