Hi, I am still learning about computers, I've had mine
for only 2 1/2 yrs, and have taken a few classes - SO I
KNOW SOME THINGS BUT NOT EVERYTHING? DON'T THINK WE EVER
WILL ABOUT PC's?
I wish to know this: CAN YOU HAVE BOTH OF THESE TOGETHER
WORKING on your PC?
The Microsoft Anti Spyware(Beta) along with: NIS2005 - I
was TOLD NO?
I had the MASW (Beta) then removed it & now I put it back
on my PC - so I would have something to remove this nasty
spyware? Thanks = Gabby L. Bowles

You can only have 1 anti-virus and only 1 firewall
installed at a time on a PC, but you can have as many
anti-apyware programs as you like. An anti-spyware
program can't find everything by itself, and that is why
it is preferable, and mandatory, to have more than one.
First, get rid of anything Norton and get a refund
(sorry). Firewall-ZoneAlarm, free at Zonelabs.com, or for
about $30 or $40 ZoneAlarm Pro 5 (diable the "ID Lock"
feature as it works TOO good for our own good).
The very best advice on which Anti-Spyware programs to
have: http://spywarewarrior.com/asw-features.htm#rec Get
SpywareGuard (free), SpywareBlaster (free), Microsoft
Beta (free), AdAware SE Personal (free), McAfee Anti-
Virus (about $30), and if you have Windows XP, get for
free (this is vital to online security if you don't know
how to shut this junk down through the registry) at
grc.com "Unplug 'n Pray" & "Shoot the Messenger".
Go to http://www.google.com/search?
hl=en&q=NIS+2005&btnG=Google+Search for info. on NIS 2005
if you like Norton.
