Is there a way you can edit videos on Powerpoint 2002?

Not really. PowerPoint is a presentation software, not a video editor. You
should use a video editor program to make changes to the movie file.
From within PowerPoint ...
You can:
Start a movie part-way through
Loop a movie
Rewind a movie when done
Play a movie over several slides
You can not:
Change the movie file

PowerPoint doesn't provide the functionality (edit media files) that you
are looking for.
If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint provide this kind of functionality, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
