Can you create a chart with columns and lines along the xaxis?

I am trying to create a chart with time along the x axis (2x years and then 4
weekly periods for 1 year). I would like the 2x years to be bars and the 4
weekly periods to be lines. I created a line chart and tried highlighting
single data points and changing to chart type column but it only changes the
whole series. Is it possible to do this in Excel?
 
Use one data range for the "2x years" and another for the "4 weekly periods)
Fill empty cells with =NA()
