Is it possible to copy Windows Updates to CD for the purpose of loading them
in another computer that is on Dial-up? Don't have to tell you how long it
takes to download with 56K.

Also, if this is possible, would I need all the critical updates, or just
the latest?

Thanks
Bruce

Hi Bruce,

It's possible, and you should grab all the critical ones. There is now an
update CD that can make this easy, order it here:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/protect/cd/order.asp

Otherwise, visit WindowsUpdate on any machine, in the left column, click the
catalog option (if it doesn't show, click personalize and add it). Then
select the operating system and download all the updates you want.
