can you clear a day's appointments in calender?

I'm trying to clear my calender of recurring appointments for my vacation so
I won't have hundreds of reminders when I get back. Is there anyway to clear
a day at a time without having to delete each appointment individually??

You can display your calendar in a table view and select a range of events
to delete.
