Can you capture a picture from a camera in access

I'm creating a membership database and wish to insert there photos in the
record as I they register.
 
access will display pics but i am not aware that access
has software that will download pics from a camera. the
camera should have come with download software. if not
then use other applications like MGI photosuite or
similar.
 
Thanks for your response. Could you then advise how I can then use one of
these programs in conjunction with Access to achieve the same result. That
is take a picture then attach it to a form.
 
Not knowing if this one has been answered already, but my opinion, is that
you should make a folder on a shared drive that possesses the Photo ID
photo's, then make either UNC or HTTP paths that call on the photo in the
form or report. That way, you can print a report with employee ID
information if required, and the photo's can be called on by other apps (say
something the HR may need - or security may need to reprint the employee an
ID).
