Can you automatically generate a title placeholder for all slide?

I have a powerpoint template with a structured title placeholder. Woul dlike
to enable users to modify this area on the first slide and it modify all
subsequent slides with the same information.

Any help would be appreciated.

Master slides? Have you tried them? That is where repeated information on
all viewable (slide show) slides should be placed.
 
Yes, based on other online help changed just the slide master. It took the
change in font size and color, etc but didn't take the actual change the text
to state the same thing. Maybe I need more explicit insturctions?

Sorry for the late reply but have been away on different system and didn't
see your post.

In PPT there are two different Masters for the purposes of this discussion
(Title and Slide). If you changed the Slide master did you also create a
text box and type the information you wanted into the text box? The master
information isn't written into the placeholder that appears on the master
slide but into it's own text box. Hope that clarifies the answer.
