XP Home Edition can't join a domain or log into a domain. It can
connect to a domain and access domain resources. For details, please

True but you can still get to all the same resourses as
on pro the only difference is that you have to log into
each resourse e.g. a drive share individually and every
time.
 
You mean XP Pro.

Windows XP Home was not designed to connect to a domain,
but XP Professional can.
 
Yes you CAN log onto a Domain with Windows XP Home
Edition! Here's how:

In the username/log on box enter:

DomainName\username

Where the Domainname represents the name of the domain
and the user name your log on name. Enter your password,
press enter and you're logged onto the Domain.
