Hello,

I am trying to use the computer at work and the people on the network are
authorized and authentificated via domain controller. So with Windows 2000
you can set up the computer to log-in into a domain and when you type in
your name and password you can choose if you want to log in into domain or
the local computer.

I can't find this feature with XP home edition and can only specify the
workgroup but this makes me type in my login and password when I try to
access a computer on the network.

Is there a way to solve this?

Hi,

Home Edition is not designed to join domains; only workgroups. To join
domains, use Professional version or above.
