Somone once told me that a young man who works in ISP, and also sells
computers told her that her that he couldn`t put windows XP on her
computer which is a Windows 98. I thought he was just wanting to sell
her a computer, because I ask her and her computer had more memory than
my computer which is 512 and is Windows XP. Do you think Windows XP
could be installed on a 98 with about 600-625 memory?

If the machine is at least 450 mhz and 256 megs of RAM
it will run XP.

the higher the cpu speed and the more RAM , the better of course.

I upgraded to Windows XP from Windows 98.

I have a 450MHz processor and 384 Meg of RAM.

It will load and tun, but have plenty of other things to do, because it will
run most painfully slow.
