Can we upgrade OS(XP Embedded)

Hello All,
Again some queries are disturbing me. Suppose i had made a XP Embedded OS,
for any client, and in any case it gets corrupted or due to some reasons i
want to upgrade it or i want to give it a new image,
So can we
1) Can we do upgrades in Flashrom.

Condition 1: If their is problem with OS which is identified as defect.
Condition2: Some Plugins are to be added

Are the machines anywhere you could PXe boot them? a PXE image that
nukes the disk and copies on a new image is fairly trivial to do.
 
What is this PXE Boot..
How does it work. Can you give me some info regarding the same.
Can we format the old one and copy the new one on the same. Will this
process be less time consuming.

I would recommend googling for information on PXE boot, as I'm hardly an
expert, and it's a fairly large topic. There is a PXE boot server
provided with the XPE tools.
