Can we put Linux on a Chromebook - is that doable?

Hi dear friends,

In the winter Holliday i mused about the usage of a tiny Linux on a Chromebook. Well there are many tiny Linux distros out there so I can imagine that there are some here that might fit well on the hardware of a Chromebook.

What do you think about this?

Honestly : What's the point of enabling Linux in a Chromebook?

I think you can enable Linux command line tools within ChromeOS from what I remember - although I've never tried it. Bought a Chromebook for work the other day and just starting to get used to it.

Would be interested to hear how this works for you!
