what did you try?
the usually method is:
File>get external data>import.
set file type to excel
Select the file
click import.
range names in the xl file give access better data
reconition perticularly if there are multiple sheets. and
sometimes access will import blank rows and columns.
so for that reason it is better to name the range in xl
that you want imported and just import that range.
