can u re-partition with xp?

You can repartition anytime you choose. However, you will not be able to
save your data and programs if you use the native Microsoft tools to do the
partitioning.

To re-partition non-destructively, you must use a third-party tool, such as
Partition Magic (8.0 or above.)

Why do you all say Partition Magic all the time to partition questions.
Bootitng is a GREAT tool - google for it and do it all for free.

It's not free. You're supposed to pay for it after the evaluation period.
