Windows XP or Vista?

CD or DVD?

For the presentation...will the disk be played
on the computer or in a DVD Player?

Thanks for the info.

Computer DVD Player or a free standing
DVD Player?

Does it have to be a CD or can you burn
a DVD?

OK...since you are posting in the Movie Maker
newsgroup...I suspect you have created your
project in Movie Maker?

How far did you get and what went wrong?

The more details you post...the better chance
you have for a solution that actually works. You
say you have been working on this for months
with no success so letting us know what you
have done will be useful.

Yes i have started a project in wmm i have made a practice CD to play back on
a tv to see how it would look. In the project i have older pics and newer
ones. Once i played it back the pics are very blurry ( all of them ) It does
play good back on the computer but not on tv. So my problem is that iam
trying to make this for a celebration of life...As my father is very ill and
i would like to have this done for when the day comes :( Maybe you can
suggest another program i can use, That I can scan pictures save them to my
pictures and put them in order with music,Transitions ect.Burn the CD and be
able to watch it on a big screen?
Thanks

Some free standing DVD Players are JPEG
compliant (check your DVD Player manual)...
this means you can insert a CD that contains
JPEG pictures and it will play a slideshow.
No preparation required.

Otherwise...if you need a "CD" that will play on
a free standing DVD player...it must be a "VCD"
(Video CD). That requires special software.

The following link is just an example of the
type software you need:

VCDEasy is a VideoCD authoring software
http://tinyurl.com/55feth
or...
http://www.vcdeasy.org/modules.php?name=_WhatIsIt&item=VCDEasy

Author a VCD/SVCD with VCDEasy:

Good luck.
