At work we have a situation where the boss has Windows 2M
work station and rest of boxes are window 98 powered.
Under help as drop down from remote desktop client, it
suggests that a connection can be made between 2 computers
that have the remote desk top client installed. The office
would like to have the capability of dialing in from home
and login to their work computer and perform tasks as if
at the work machine. Also a linksys router would map thge
public address to each of the work computers. Is this
doable or must there be a terminal server on the work
machine?

All suggestions are welcome.

3rd party s/w allows 2k Pro to have a multi-win session but not suggested.
You can use a PCA type solution but if you have a handful of machines, why
not put a server in there? AT 5+ users there should be. And get off 98!

Since most of those machines are 98 or 2000, try using
NetMeeting. That program should already be on most
machines anyway.

PCAnywhere will also work, as well as VNC.
