Is it possible to reduce the size of a .mswmm project file?
After spending several hours editing some old home movies the x.mswmm
project files have grown tremendously in size. As I was editing (split and/or
move clips, increase/decrease brightness, and add trasistions/effects) I
would frequently make changes to my changes --eg add an effect and then later
remove that effect. To prevent loss of data/work effort I would frequyently
save the project. As time went on the .mswmm file kept growing. Now that I
have finished editing, I would like to know if it is possible to reduce the
size of the .mswmm file by removing what surely must be superfluous info
after all the changes. I tried opening the project and doing a 'save as' to
a new project file with out succes. In fact, occasionally having made no
changes, opening a project and saving as a new project actually resulted in a
larger file --with no editing changes.
