Can the mouse pointer color/size be changed?

During a slide show, can the mouse pointer size/color be changed for the
purpose of pointing (making the pointer much more obvious) at stuff on a
slide?
 
Either go to the control panel and change your pointer options or you can
right click during a slide show and select the highlighter pen option
