My nortons came up and gave me possibly a virus, but i have had the updated
virus scan running. It popped up while on the internet
says it is in Source: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local
Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\CPQ3SH67\aun_0032[1].exe
Click for more information about this threat : Trojan.Alwayup?
I scan in safe mode and regular and it never finds it?
Can this folder be cleaned, ok with just deleting everything in it?

thanks
Bruce

But I rescan and it says nothing

How can I spit in my ass without damaging it? That's simple. Just reformat
the disk and everything will be alright.

HOW CAN I SPIT IN MY ASS WITHOUT "DAMAGING" IT?

That's the question!

Bruce, yes. You can remove everything in both Temporary Internet Files and
IE5 Content directories. DO keep both directories (folders) themselves
however. I do it all the time when problems like that pop up.

Thanks, still waiting for symantec, it doesn't show a virus when I rescan,
not sure if it was something that tried to come in through the internet.
Only time I can find the file is in safemode, but I scan and it still
doesn't show a virus. Figured I would clean it out.
If I am not in safe mode though, it isnt visible

Bruce,

Try using Widows Explorer. You can follow the path in your scan detail to
the listed file and delete it. Another way is to do a search on your "C"
Drive for "aun_0032.*". When the file (or files) come up in the search
window, delete it (or them).
