from starting from boot-up? I can't find anywhere in the configuration of
the program to tell it not to. Am I looking in the wrong place? Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try typing this in the run dialogue
msconfig
and going to the start tab and unchecking what you don't want. Reboot
afterward and check the "don't show me this again box," after you reboot.
Good luck.

Please feel free to visit my sight at
http://home.earthlink.net/~kales2/pattys_country_colors_rep. where I am an
affiliate of patty's Country Colors. If you like hand made candels, crafts,
and more, you will like Patty's Country Colors. I will try and keep up to
date on the items for sale. Check it out.

Thanks very much, Marrie. It worked! :o)

Very important clarification: You got this error because your computer has
been infected by spyware. This will NOT happen for ANY other reason. You
*probably* have CoolWebSearch variant 26(?):
http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html#startup
covers this. Please make sure your computer is cleaned of this nastiness.
=(
