Can someone tell me how ro get buttons on forms to work?

I am trying to do a search form. I have a text box on the form so people can
but the name of what they are trying to search for and then press the button
and it pullls up a form with the information. I have created a form already
with the information about each item. Thank you to anyone that is able to
help.

Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. It took a lot of
trial and error, but I finally got it. Is all I need was someone to show me
were to go to find the right info. Thanks!!!
