Can someone make me a simple spreadsheet???

Hello All,

Here's my problem.... I'm trying to make a month's worth of scheduling at a
time for work... we have about 8 people.... Now I started making a
spreadsheet in excel, but I'm just not good enough to do what Id like to
do, so maybe someone in this group would be willing to give me a
hand....???

What I've got so far.... I've got my excel layed out like a calander (1
month), then, in each day, I'm putting the employee's initials, and I've
got codes setup for each different shift.... which is fine, but then we
get into formulas, and I suck at that... now I want to be able to get some
totals, like each employee's initial, and thier total hours per week, and
month... things like that... but it involves assigning values to my
schedule codes, and adding a weeks worth up, etc... and I can't figure it
out... I've asked for help in this group, and people were VERY fast in
providing the help, and I really appreciate it, but I just can't get thing
implemented together... If someones willing to get me started, I can send
you what I've got so far... Once I get some working formulas in there, I
should be okay from there....

Hopefully someone would be willing to help a rookie out....
