can someone change a from a workgroup to a domain

Hi ,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to change a computer
that is in a workgroup that is offsite connected to a
domain over a VPN? Can this actually be done? Can anyone
give me any insight on this?

You would need to VPN to the (a) DC's network first, since you need domain
Admin credentials to join a computer to a domain
