i use vista home premium GR, i always update my pc, i have the nod32 always
updated and when the computer starts i have to press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, in
order to put the password and log in to windows, but i have the user account
control deactivated.
is there any way for someone to find my password, and if this is possible
how can i prevent it?

if the attacker can physically access your computer, you need set a bios
password, because there is a boot cd that can easily reset your account
password and the attacker can steal all your data.

the user account control is another pair of shoes. it deals with the
softwares/activitites and the users' rights.

The bottom line is that if someone can physically sit down at your computer,
they can use commonly available tools to find the password for the user
accounts. What you need to do is make it as difficult, and time consuming as
possible.

Enabling the CTRL+ALT+DEL option does help, if a malicious program gets onto
the system. This keystroke combination provides a 'trusted path' and proves
that someone is physically accessing the computer.

When you create the password, you want to make it as complicated as
possible. Make sure it includes a combination of upper/lower case letters,
numbers, and keyboard characters. But the most important thing is that it is
very 'Loooooong'.
