I'm not familiar with Rogers, but I found this... looks like you need to
check the box for "My Server requires authentication"
Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Servers
"Mail - Quick POP3 Settings
If you are familiar with your email program and require only the specific
server settings, please refer to the list below. If you require more
detailed instructions, please click the link at the bottom of the page.
* Your Email Address: (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed)
Enter your Rogers Email user name in place of "username"
* Password: Enter your Rogers Email password.
Remember your password is case sensitive. Check that caps lock is not
on.
* Incoming (POP) Server: pop.broadband.rogers.com
* Outgoing (SMTP) Server: smtp.broadband.rogers.com
* SMTP Authentication: Should be ON.
This will allow you to send mail. If you are asked to enter a username
and password, enter the same ones used to download mail. "
