can save to cd,but won't play in dvd player?

I at first could not save to cd. i went on line to find
out why and found the message about cd drive not
detected. did what it said then it would save i was soooo
excited. then put it in my dvd player which is cd-r and
cd-rw/ mp3 compadible. but nothing happened. so i put it
in my computer and it would play on my computer. please
help me i am making memories cd for everyone at my work
with there family pictures. thank you cindy.

You need to burn it as VCD or SVCD if you want it to play on your standalone
DVD player.

By the other software --- from the WMV or DV-AVI movie file saved by Movie
